We have shot some of the footage, however we feel that it could be done better and does not seem to look right when the brightness is reduced in adobe. Here is the part where we tried to make it look darker but it just doesnt look right.
We then decided that shooting it again in the dark will be better. We looked at the way the light was shown and so have thought about doing it later in the day so it looks naturally dark. The way it ends we also have decieed to do again as we came up with better ways for the end of the opening scene. This means we will film the two and then look at which one looks more effective with the rest of the film. Such as the girl falling on the floor and the screen turning to black with police siren noise or the somebody else knocking on the door and the audience finally seeing the girl fainted on the floor.
We had decided to go today to shott it again and we would have finished if the location was avaliable on the day and so this means we have had to re-scheldule the actors and when the location is avaliable. We have decieded to do it tomorrw later in the day whcih means it will be better for the use of lighting. It will be darker and this is the effect we want for the film. Also the props on the previous shooting we not planned very well, however we have now got all our props that we need for the film. This means our shooting can be done quickly and all on one day as we will be fully prepared.
We have decided to do the shots a couple of times so they are there if something happens to them. It will also mean we can look at it and see which one is better. We have also decided to rehearse the movements we make in order to ensure that there is no continity found within it. Also leaving a 5 second gap between the start and end means that it can be easily cut in case it has been mixed up.
